‘Tis the season for some of us to stretch budgets and make every dollar count, so we’re pleased to share with you an exciting announcement from our friend Samantha Gregory, founder of Rich Single Momma:
“I want to introduce you to a new site that is an interactive combination of social networking, education, and personal growth. The focus of this site is economic empowerment for single moms that seek to encourage, empower, and motivate single moms to create a better financial future for them.
“Personal finance has been the focus of the Rich Single Momma blog and many people have been blessed from the articles, tips, and advice. It is my personal mission to educate and empower single moms to build a better life and get away from the stress, anger, and depression surrounding lack of finances and/or waiting for a child support check.
“The Rich Single Momma Community is the place for single moms to get more personal finance information and training. It features free basic financial literacy tutorial, interactive games to educate about money, financial calculators designed to help them make better financial decisions, and videos that will teach and inform. The single mom who joins will have her own page and personal journal to chart her financial freedom course. In the future, a discussion forum and chat area will be added.
“At the beginning of 2010, three more levels of courses will be offered to further empower single moms to take the next steps to financial freedom. These courses will be a deep dive into examining the money mentality, learning how to set financial goals, overcoming blocks to financial success, and achieving financial freedom through knowledge, career advancement, and/or self-employment.
“Co-Parenting101.org readers are invited to take advantage of this opportunity. This is the resource to get the education and training needed to empower them economically, in a place specifically designed for single moms. I firmly believe that when single mothers are economically empowered they lead better, happier lives and are able to focus on the most important task at hand, raising well-adjusted children.”
Even if you are a married momma, Samantha welcomes you to this vibrant community of women who are taking control of their finances and their futures!

Thank you so much for featuring my community. Having the support of fellow single moms is awesome! See you over at the Rich Single Momma community.
