This post is a veritable smorgasbord of great co-parenting and related info, upcoming events, and…a SPECIAL INVITATION to you, our readers.  So, dig in…

Is this thing on? (photo: uncledave981)

We’ve got some great episodes of Co-Parenting Matters lined up for you (see upcoming show topics below), but we are still scheduling into 2010…

Calling ALL co-parents, and by all, we mean we’re inviting individuals, couples, former couples, step-parents, grandparents, adoptive parents, biological and non-biological parents, and others, regardless of sexual orientation, who are parenting children across more than one household to SHARE YOUR FAMILY’S STORY.

Do you find that when the topic of co-parenting is raised, families like yours are excluded from the conversation?

Do you consider yourself part of a non-traditional co-parenting arrangement?

Has your search for resources to support your co-parenting efforts resulted in little to nothing of use to you and your family?

Are you struggling with your co-parenting relationship?

Do you consider your family’s co-parenting experience a successful work-in-progress and want others to benefit from what you’ve learned along the way?

If any of the above is true, we want to hear from you!  Please consider:

  • Writing a guest post for us.
  • Being interviewed by us via email.
  • Contributing to our audio gallery by pre-recording your answer to the question “Why Does Co-Parenting Matter?” to be aired on  a future episode of our live, weekly talk show “Co-Parenting Matters”
  • Being a guest on “Co-Parenting Matters”
  • Sharing the voices or experiences of your children related to being co-parented

Interested or know someone who might be?  Let us know at info AT coparenting101 DOT org or contact AT coparentingmatters DOT com.

“Co-Parenting Matters”…of course it does!

Of course, the top news around these parts are the latest additions to our “Co-Parenting Matters” episode roster. We have been so thrilled at and thankful for the response of our friends in the co-parenting community via their willingness to join us on Sunday nights.  Here’s what you can look forward to on our BlogTalk Radio show on Sundays at 9:30 PM EST, over the next several weeks:

1/17 Raising Him Alone: Single Mothers Raising Sons This Sunday evening, David Miller, co-founder of the “Raising Him Alone” campaign, will be joining us to talk about the campaign which is dedicated to supporting the social well-being of single mothers raising sons. And, along with David, we’ll have Sheron Smith as our guest. Ms. Smith is the mother of Grammy-nominated rapper and actor, Mos Def. She has a powerful story to share about being a single mother raising a highly successful son in a toxic environment.

1/24 Mediation 101

1/31 Divorce 101

2/7 SUPER BOWL SUNDAY–no show

2/14 TBD

2/21 Happy Parents, Happy Kids with our guest, Yvonne Bynoe of Sophisticated Woman and Mama. We’ll be giving away TWO Working Mom Startup Sessions with Yvonne!

2/28 Stepfamilies with our guest, Claudette Chenevert, certified Life Coach and Stepfamily Relationship Coach, and founder of Coaching Steps LLC.

In other BlogTalk Radio news, please join our friend Tina Fortune M-Th evenings at 10 PM EST for her SparkWISDOM single parenting show.  On Mondays’ shows, you can catch the “Co-Parenting Matters Moment” with Deesha and Talibah Mbonisi, our “Co-Parenting Matters” co-host and founder of WeParent.com.  Our current segments feature the “Bill of Rights for Children of Divorce.”

Elsewhere on these Innanets, we recommend…

The Icing on My Divorce Cake: This co-parenting situation makes us feel a little less weird.  Check out one of our favorite blogs, “My Life, Incomplete.”

“Could I Forgive Him One Last Time?”: This co-parenting mom gave her son, and her ex, and unforgettable gift.  What a moving story and an example of c0-parenting honor and humility.

“How Much Do I Need to Trust My Ex?” Another one of our favorites, “Big City Dad.”

Finally, Big Little Wolf at the always-provocative, fantastically titled, “Daily Plate of Crazy” asks: “Why Must We Marry?”
