Co-Parenting Quote of the Week: “…Adversity doesn’t have to breed dysfunction.”

“We teach our kids how to interact with the world in the way that we co-parent.  Adversity doesn’t have to breed dysfunction.”

During last week’s episode of “Co-Parenting Matters”, these wise words were tweeted by Remus M. Brice, Jr. , a single dad and self-described “poet, writer, law student, and stalker of brilliance.”  We thank Remus for that brilliant quote!  He tweeted it during our discussion of co-parenting resolutions, in response to this resolution: “I will take the long view and be a role model for my child through my co-parenting.”

In case you missed that show, you can listen to it here. Mike, Talibah, and I (Deesha) shared our own co-parenting resolutions for the year–Mike has two!–so be sure to check it out.

And be sure to tune in this Sunday for “Co-Parenting Matters” when our guest  Stephenie Jocham, a founding partner at Jocham, Harden, Dimick and Jackson.  We’ll be discussing shared parenting agreements–the benefits of one, what should be included in it, and how to negotiate such an agreement effectively.  We hope you’ll tune in and join the conversation! Sunday, January 16 at 9:30 PM EST on BlogTalk Radio!
